About the event

Date: October 6, 2019

Location: Henry Coe State Park HQ Visitor Center- White Barn

Time: 1pm- 4pm

Come join us at Henry Coe State Park Tarantula Fest and rub elbows (so to speak) with some of our fuzzy, friendly, eight-legged guests of honor. The event is held at the headquarters campground, which has breathtaking views across the ridges and canyons of the backcountry. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided at 1 pm followed by a presentation with arachnid expert Dr. Merav Vonshak in the White barn. After the talk, we plan to take a short 1 - 2 mile "Big Hairy Spiders" Walk.

*Carpooling to this event is STRONGLY encouraged! We recommend arriving early with a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park before the event.

*There is no registration fee for this event, but please register so we know to expect you.
