The Bay Area Wildlife Symposium is intended to bring together wildlife enthusiasts, local professionals, and students from the San Francisco Bay Area together to share ideas, professional knowledge, information on projects, and on-going research.

SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT
The SF Bay Chapter of The Wildlife Society is excited to announce our second Bay Area Wildlife Symposium, and we are currently seeking presenters to help make this event engaging and insightful for all attendees. If you are interested in presenting, please submit an abstract using the link below. We are seeking 15 minute presentations, 5 minute lightning talks, and poster presentations. Abstract reviews will begin October 7.

Sponsorship support helps us keep registration affordable and allows for the chapter to support students and early-career professionals. More specifically, your sponsorship supports expenses such as venue fees, insurance, food and beverage costs, scholarships, and educational materials. The Chapter is offering a tiered level sponsorship program. If these levels do not meet your expectations, please reach out directly and we can coordinate an agreement that works for both parties.

Our Annual
Student and Early Career Professional* Scholarship
We’re excited to announce that scholarship applications are now open for the 2026 Bay Area Wildlife Symposium!
Scholarships are available to eligible applicants to help cover the cost of registration and will be awarded on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis while funds are available.
Applicants will be notified of their scholarship status by October 6, 2026, before registration opens. Student and early-career professional registration tickets are $30 (limited availability), while general registration tickets are $45.
