About the event

Effects of Wildfire on California’s Biodiversity -  from forest carnivores to bird song

Brett Furnas is a quantitative ecologist with the Wildlife Health Laboratory at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife who leads design and analysis of wildlife research and monitoring studies throughout the state.  He received his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley and previously worked for the California Air Resources Board and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer.
