About the event

Join us for our first virtual professional development presentation of 2023. Felidae Conservation Fund will be discussing Living with Lions in the San Francisco Bay Area.

About the Presenters:

Alys Granados is a wildlife ecologist with Felidae since the fall of 2021. She completed a postdoc at the University of British Columbia where she used camera trap data to assess the impacts of outdoor recreation on carnivores and ungulates in western Canada. She has a PhD (in Zoology) from UBC, where she measured the effects of hunting and logging on mammals in Borneo.

Zara McDonald is the president and founder of Felidae  as well as researcher and biologist. Zara has been studying wild cats for over a decade and has worked on conservation projects around the world including in South America, Asia, and Africa, studying a range of big and small cat species, such as tigers, snow leopards, cheetahs, and clouded leopards.
