Recovering America's Wildlife Act (RAWA)

The RAWA Act was introduced to Congress in December of 2017, and our Conversation Affairs Committee Chair has  been working tirelessly to ensure The Wildlife Society has an active voice in wildlife-related bills in the government.

2018 Steps include:

3/18/18 sent emails to California Representatives regarding RAWA and in support of dedicated funding

8/31/18 email letter sent by Conservations Affairs supporters to Senators Dianne Feinstein & Kamala Harris specific to the Senate bill. [The House version now already has a dedicated funding mechanism.]
